Wow, what a blessing! Those cherished last memories will mean so much more someday. A week before Christmas. We lost my grandfather and he was 97. Earlier in the year he told us he was going to outlive his credit card, expiration date which would make him 101. Well sorry but he didn’t make it and even a week before he was telling the doctor that he was going to make it to 98 which would’ve been March 16. Giving my grandfather communion on Thanksgiving eve meant so much. Having him there for Thanksgiving was a joy. Glad you have so many fun memories and family surrounded all. She must be something special that the world needs more of.
