Oh, I just have to tell you about a handmade card a friend made for me.
She has made other cards for me, but she sent me a card she made for me that
is quilling that is a Christmas ball with a Bowe on top. She glued tiny
sparkly gems within the curves. She also put her initials in large dots and
mine also with a puffy heart on the inside.
I took the front off, I cut it down, and put the initials on the back,
punched a hole, and hung it on my tree.
So, special!

It would be nice if someone could teach quilling.  I know Sue Povinelli
knows how to quill don't know if anyone else knows.
What about plastic canvas.  I keep mentioning this.  Who else besides Terry
Powers knows how to do this and would be willing to teach the class?  Terry
doesn't seem to be interested in teaching it.
How about more pony bead classes?
Is there anyone who would be willing to teach a basic sewing class like
making stitches by hand and sewing on buttons.  It would be nice to be able
to mend a hem.
There are a lot of people on this list.  We can't just depend on Shelley and
Tammy to do all the teaching.  If I knew how to doo the above things I'd
certainly step up and teach a class.

What old or new activities would you like to see continue or start up on
Crafters Corner in 2024?

I like the ongoing classes, but would like to see every class have a backup
teacher, so that classes don't get cancelled.

If signed up to an ongoing class I'd like to see you have to attend one
class a year in order to stay on that email list. So the teacher knows there
is still interest in her class. 

I'd like to see more classes throughout the month hosted from members.

I'd like to see some plastic canvas classes, sewing classes, and
scrapbooking classes.

Miscellaneous classes are always a lot of fun.

I'd like to see even more people sharing their talents and helping out
through the caring for sharing class.

I'd like to see our Facebook page become more active again.

I'd especially like to see more people take an interest in keeping the group
running.

I'd like to see us host kk Birthday parties yearly like the Christmas party.

I know we probably aren't allowed to have fun raisers but, I'd like to see
one fun raiser a year and to use those funds to give back to the members
through gifts at the Birthday party and Christmas party and if enough funds
are raised to have a gift every so often like on other holidays. 

I'd like to see committees set up for various things like email list
activities, Facebook page, promoting the group, Monday night chats, party
planning and I'm sure there are others.

I'd like to see membership meeting again keeping us updated on what is
happening with the group.

Here are ideas off of the top of my head, so now that I have given example
of things I'd like to see what sort of things you would like to see in 2024.

In closing I would just like to give a shout out to those of you who worked
hard in 2023 teaching classes and working behind the scenes to keep this
little corner running.
