Hi Bernice, so, what are you making?
I am tempted to give away my straight needles because I love my Denise
Interchangeable Circular ones so much, but, probably won't give away my
straights because there might come a time when I'll need them.
You know what they say about "Darned if you do, darned if you don't."

Well, I did a swatch before, but wasn't good about measuring other things.
Well, I bought number 2 circular needles, did a swatch, and found that 20
rib stitches was 3 inches. I am using k2 p2 ribbing for 44 stitches. I have
done a couple of inches long and it is a fantastic fit. I am hopeful that
this time will be good.

I was astounded at the cost of needles. I usually just pay for them at the
craft store and don't ask how much they cost because they are what I want
and need. 2 24 inch steel circular needles was $21. It is a local store, so,
it might be cheaper on Amazon, but I wanted them now. 

I never buy nedles at Wal Mart, because I hate that bend in each end of the
circular needle. 

Soon, I am going to sort my plastic, bamboo, and nedles with a bend in them
and give them away. I probably can find somewhere to donate them.
