I hope I can say that I finished my mittens by next Saturday. Go Tracy.
My job has been way more busy since the first of the month, which gives me
less time to knit. I'm spent by the end of the day, and don't knit then.

I completed the trigger mittens I made for my husband!  He says they fit
well, and they do work better with his white cane than regular mittens.
Woohoo!

 

I made them of blue worsted wool on size 6 needles.  I made 2 at a time on 2
circular needles, though I had to use DPN's to do the thumb and finger.  I
also had to turn one thumb and one finger inside out from the way I knitted
them so they would be the right way round.  Not really sure why that
happened, but turning them fixed it.  

 

I think they look rather nice.  They're pretty long, but they fit nicely in
a pocket when folded in half.

 

Now I'm untangling my kumihimo string, and then I can start on a new
knitting project.  The project has nothing to do with the string; I just
noticed it was a mess.
