Well, crocheting is a huge challenge for me.  I attend Tammy's granny square
class but I can't say my squares turn out real well.  So this week I have
been concentrating on just making stitches and making them into swatches.  I
can now say I can successfully make the single crochet, half double crochet
and double crochet stitches without stopping to think about it.  I think I
can also safely say that my swatches are coming out straight.  I'm still
going to attend the granny square classes but I think it was important that
I master the stitches comfortably and also feeling which stitch to go into
next.  I think my squares will hopefully look a little more like they are
suppose to.  I've been reading the book Crocheting in plain English.  I
practice every day while watching the news or some tv.  But that means my
knitting has been ignored.  But I will get back to that.
