Hi Tracey,
I really relate to your experience. I love playing the piano, and when
people watch me play, they say my fingers look really relaxed. However, I am
shaking inside. Once in a recital, I forgot what piece I was supposed to
play, and even when my teacher told me what I was supposed to play, I drew a
blank. I did it once also for my semester piano exam. 
I also love to sing, but I like to sing in a choir where I hope nobody can
hear me.
Harps are so beautiful. Good for your efforts and success.

That is a challenge for sure.  Kind of like having someone watching over my

It's Successful Saturday!  Have you started or finished a project, or
achieved a goal?  Share your success with us and we'll celebrate with you.

 

I had what feels like a great success this week.  I play the harp, and I
wanted to record a tune and send it to a friend as a thank-you, but, every
time I tried, I'd panic and make a mess of it, even if I'd played it well
before I hit the record button.  But I finally managed it this week!  I
recorded the tune and sent it off to my friend, and she likes it!  So now I
should record another for her, so hopefully I can get over the recording
phobia.  Not that I plan to do big things with it, but I'm working not to
panic when people are listening to me play.
