[NFB-Krafters-Korner] OT: Janesville tornado

About 2 weeks ago, we had them going through MD.  We hardly ever get tornatoes around here!
I got a worning on my blind shell phone and we went into the londry room, which was the closest to the tv, in the living room.
We live in a first floor condo.
I always wondered why they built our condoes with windows only on one side of the unit!
Now I know, so we would have some place to shelter and they could put 2 units, back to back!
My friend, in the next town, said it passed, one mile from her house.
It was one tornato that tutched down about 6 times!
Just count my blessings.
There was damage but I am pretty sure, no deaths.

Wisconsin had several tornadoes last night. Early evening. We hardly ever go to the basement but last night we did because there was a touchdown a mile away from our house. We are right by the state school For The Blind and I am grateful that the kids are gone for the weekend, and they don’t have any summer programs going on at the moment. That school is a block and a half from our house. We are OK and from what we can gather those that were closest to the tornado are OK as well. One blind friend of ours heard the tornado go over her house and then proceeded to take the roof off the people across the street.  I think she was wishing she was at that moment. Tornadoes are strange things. Hope everyone is safe in this heat and these wild winds all over. When I went to the basement, I took my dad with me. The cat my husband and the Knitting. You can see where the priorities are!
