[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Question about crochet instructions

I don't know much about crochet patterns...never made a full crochet project from a pattern. So probably others will be better to answer this, but I will note that crochet patterns that I've seen were kinda like knit patterns, using abbreviations like HD for half double and S for single. Beyond that, I don't really know....crochet patterns are definitely a different language than knitting ones!
