Hi Tracy,
good on you my friend, it does surprise  me when people think just because we are blind, that we can't do lots of things.
I have just finished a wallaby Jumper and I am now working on a babies blanket.
It is cooling down here in Aussie land so there isn't much to do in the garden.
Tracy you should be so proud of yourself, I don't understand why they couldn't work out what is plants and weeds, I feel they need to find another job then

I had what feels like a big success this week.  I'm converting a good bit of lawn into flower beds.  Less mowing, more beauty.  I talked to 2 outfits about taking out the grass, and they both said they'd have to take out the existing beds too, because they had some weeds in them and the contractors couldn't tell the difference between weeds and plants I want.  I said I could flag the plants I want, but they ignored me.  I'm sure they were thinking how could a blind person tell plants from weeds when they couldn't.
So I did the work in the existing beds myself.  I pulled out the weeds and dug up sod around the edges, then put down mulch.  It was a lot of work, and there's still a little bit to do, but after that there will just be a patch of lawn for them to remove, and no plants of mine to worry about.  They said it couldn't be done, but I did it!
