[Nfb-kzoo] Walking Around East Campus

I know some of you have walked around here a lot, so thought I'd ask for any opinions on the most pedestrian-friendly way to cut from downtown to campus or from the vine/Lovell area to campus. I'm thinking that if you can come up on the correct side of Lovell, Michigan, etc. before all of those streets collide, it may be easier. Maybe it'd just be helpful to have a tactile map showing how Michigan/Lovell/Stadium/Oakland/whatever intersect over there and where there are actually lights. Almost every time I try to walk it, I get messed up somewhere on the way.
There has to be a way that's at least somewhat safe.
