Thanks Tim, this sounds great.  Thursdays are tricky for us with the kids in 
a couple different activities that night, but Tyler will plan to be there 
and I am trying to find a sitter to do the driving around town so I can be

hello chapter!

at our last meeting, i was charged with the task of contacting the local 
chapter of the mcbvi. it turns out, that the president of the chapter, 
charmese, contacted me first. she introduced herself and let me know that 
she was interested in our two groups cooperating.

when i told her of the issues we have been discussing related to transit, 
she said her group was eager and willing to work in cooperation with us to 
address these important issues.

charmese and i thought it best for our groups to get together outside of our 
regular chapter meetings to discuss our plan of action. she and i decided on 
a date and time that will hopefully work well for the majority of people in 
our respective chapters. we are scheduled to meet at disability network on 
thursday, may 31 at 6pm. at this meeting we will iron out the details of 
attendance at metro transit board meetings and other such strategic 
initiatives.

i am personally very much looking forward to our two groups working 
together, showing metro that blind people can really get things done. i hope 
to see everyone there!
