Great news. I am interested in learning more about how my membership as a
lion and from the supports here, might help me in promoting public education
as well. I just today met with an early childhood center and will be trying
to find funding for a 15 week program aimed at character building and
diversity appreciation coupled with a blind awareness component. Any advice
or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Yours in lionism,
Albert J. Rizzi, M.Ed.

Subject: [Nfb-lions] USA/Canada Lions Forum in Milwaukee
Greetings Fellow Lionws!
After Chris Danielsen, Steve Booth, Susan Day, Fred Schroeder, and I
attended the Memphis USA/Canada Lions Forum last year, we submitted a
proposal that Chris and I should make a presentation at the next one in
Milwaukee next September. We called it Lions Partnering with the Blind in
the 21st Century. We got the official invitation to do it this week. I am
very pleased to report this to you.
I will try to remember to remind you closer to time, so that you can
encourage members of your clubs to attend. It should give us a good
opportunity to do some good public education. If any of you are going to be
there, please let us know.
Ramona
