We are in interesting times and challenging times no matter where we are and no matter what organization one is in. I have been a member of the NFB since 1971 and a member of LIONS since 1979.  So no matter what organization I'm in or what I'm doing in that organization I have a choice of making it work for me and others or not.  When I meet people on the crossroads of live my hope is that our lives will be better because we have milk and learn from each other.  Sometimes when we can't look to the right or to the left we need to look up and be grateful.

were saying how interesting it is to look at how other groups organize the
way they do.

Our club locally seems full of a lot of sweet people, not a very
enthusiastic club as a group, but individuals wanting to serve.  Not a lot
going on with them right now, but will see how everything plays out.

Hi Chris and Judy,

Great to hear that you will be officially a Lion and I know you will have to
learn a lot about what the clubh does. My advice is don't try to jump into
too many things during the first year and learn as much as you can about the
different people in the club. Members are very divers and you will need to
learn how to get along with different people and the ways that they think.
If asked about blind issues, don'[t hesitate to share the NFB philosophy so
that people don't take advantage of you.

Our next NFB-Lions Zoom chat will be on Saturday, December 26, 2020,
beginning at 5:00 PM ET, 4 PM  CT, 3 MT, 2PM PT, and 12 Noon HT. The zoom
invitation will be sent to the list on or by the 18th of December.



We had two new people join us on the last call that we had on November 28,
and we had a lively discussion about getting materials from Lions Clubs
International into accessible format.m



There has also been someone who called me about the Zoom chats and is a Lion
and hopefully this person will be able to join us on the 26 of December. I
don't know where or how this person got my number but you will find it
below.
