[NFB-Lions] Off the call and reporting.

Hi, Milton,

 

After rejoining, Chris could not be unmuted, and again, neither could I, so we just checked out.

 

However as far as reporting, here goes.

 

Chris is MD-19 KOTB district H representative.  He has really been pushing Blind Awareness month, which is what we are calling it here.  

 

He has lined up a white cane awareness presentation at our zone meeting, September 18.

 

He has also been busy calling the district people, and has been invited to present at the upcoming cabinet meeting.

 

Our club is not doing much, and with the Covid emergency just declared in our area, hasn’t made many plans.  We were going to try to meet in person, but next meeting is September 20, and haven’t heard what will happen.

 

I have done nothing 😊 most of the summer, as I am recovering from Covid.  My consecutive healthy days stretches are getting longer.  Chris and I both got Covid, and this is after vaccinations, too.  I had the delta variant.  We both had light cases, but his was a lot shorter than mine.

 

Anyway, that’s it, and I hope you have some good notes to add for this month.
