[NFB-Maryland] Final Reminder about State Financial ASsistance Application for National Convention - Deadline May 15, 2019

Hi Everyone,

This is a final reminder that those requesting financial assistance from the
Maryland affiliate for National Convention need to get their applications
completed and submitted to me no later than May 15, 2019.  I'm attaching the
Financial Assistance Application Form to this email, and it is also
available on our website - NFBMD.org.  Please note that an application must
be completed in full, including cost estimates for any category for which an
individual or family is seeking assistance as well as an explanation of
whether the individual is new to the Federation and if not, his/her
involvement in the last year.  

 

Please be mindful that there is a significant increase for requests for
financial assistance this year, and while we hope to assist as many people
as possible, our affiliate's resources are limited.  Thus, submitting an
application does not guarantee that any or all of the financial assistance
requested will be granted.

 

The Financial Grant Committee will be meeting immediately after the May 15
deadline so that individuals can be notified quickly about the Committee's
decision and people can finalize plans.
