[NFB-Maryland] Remembering the Work of Elvita Palmer - Celebration this Saturday, September 28

This is a reminder about the Memorial Service we will be holding so that
Elvita Palmer's NFB family can celebrate her life. The service will take
place this Saturday, September 28, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM prior to our
National Harbor Chapter meeting. Everyone is welcome to come. Please RSVP
to Michelle Clark (information below) by this Thursday, September 26. Those
coming from Baltimore who need transportation from the National Center
should let me know no later than Thursday, September 26 as well.

All,
Please join the National Harbor Chapter in a gathering to honor the memory
of Elvita Palmer. Both Elvita and her daughter Leah were Charter Members
and served faithfully prior to her untimely health issues. To honor her,
we will allow persons in attendance to share stories, poetry, and your
thoughts to show our appreciation for the work and legacy she left for the
National Harbor Chapter, NFB of Maryland, Parents of Blind Children, and the
NFB.
When: Saturday, September 28, 2019
Where: Imani Temple African American Catholic Church
Address: 2420 Brooks Drive,
Suitland, MD
Time: 11:00 to 1:00P (prior to our 1:00P Chapter Meeting)
