Hi all,

You probably already know this information, but in case not and you want to participate in the meeting…

 

•             How to participate in the upcoming RTP Commission meeting, scheduled for 9am-12pm on Thursday, June 18th 2020.

 

June 2020 RTP Commission Meeting

 

 

 

 

You have two options for joining the June RTP commission meeting 

•             By computer/smartphone/tablet: 

1.            Visit rtp.mta.maryland.gov/commission--We encourage you to join the meeting any time after 8:30am to make sure you have time before the meeting starts to work through any technical issues.  

2.            Enter your name and email

3.            Click "Join Now"

4.            A pop-up window from Cisco WebEx will ask you if you’d like to add WebEx as an extension to your web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.). If you are able, please download the plug-in because it will make for a smoother meeting experience. *If you cannot download the extension, you can still join directly through your browser. 

5.            Go to the Downloads folder on your computer and open WebEx. A browser window will open stating “Starting WebEx” with a spinning wheel. Within moments, you should enter the meeting. 

6.            Once you enter the meeting, your mic will automatically be set to "Mute" and your video feed will be "Off" but you will be able to see the Commissioners' video feeds and all presentation materials.

•             By phone: 

1.            Call (408) 418-9388 and enter Access Code 713 207 356

2.            Your mic will automatically be set to "Mute" but you will be able to hear all audio from the meeting.

If you would like to offer public testimony 

•             At approximately 9:15am, public testimony will begin. Individuals will have up to 3 minutes and representatives of organizations will have up to 5 minutes to speak. All testimony will be audio-only. 

•             BEFORE June 18th: 

o             Contact the RTP Project team by email or phone (443) 475-0687 anytime to pre-register

•             ON June 18th: 

o             Anytime between 8:30am-9:15am, "Raise your hand" to indicate you would like to sign up for public testimony: 

             Click on the participants icon in the center of your toolbar (found by hovering your mouse over the bottom of the screen).  

             This will open a panel on the right-hand side of your screen with the names of all Panelists and Attendees. Go to the bottom right hand corner and click on the "Raise Hand" icon: 

             At approximately 9:15am, the RTP team will unmute individuals who have previously registered to testify. Next, the RTP team will unmute individuals who have "raised their hand" since entering the meeting. 

             If you are on the phone, press *9 and a RTP team member will call on you and unmute your mic to confirm your request.
