[NFB-Maryland] Maryland Host of 2021 National Federation of the Blind Annual Convention

All,

President Riccobono tonight announced at the Great Gathering In, the
kick-off event for the 2021 Washington Seminar, that the 2021 National
Federation of the Blind Annual Convention will be held virtually from July 6
- 10, 2021, and Maryland will serve as the host affiliate.

 

We will shortly be convening a Host Convention Planning Work Group.  If you
would like to participate in this work group, please let me know by Monday,
February 15, 2021.  If you have ideas for the opening ceremony or any host
events and activities, feel free to email me at President at nfbmd.org

I believe this will be the largest convention in Federation history.  I also
believe that Maryland will once again register more participants than any
other affiliate.  Last year, we beat Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado - as
well as everyone else.  If folks have ideas on marketing the convention and
helping folks to register (beginning April 1), please let me know.

 

I hope you all are as excited as I am about Maryland serving as the host
affiliate!  This convention will be epic!
