We have great events from the MSB Outreach Department coming up that you will not want to miss!

Partner with MSB on Short Courses

The Maryland School for the Blind Outreach Department is in the process of creating short courses. Short courses are a way for Maryland blind and low vision students from across the state to gain skills during the year. These courses can be done in local schools, at MSB, or anywhere else. Are you interested in partnering with us on a short course? Do you have a great idea that can be fun and engaging for Maryland students? We would love to partner with you! We are also interested in partnering around parent workshops or staff trainings. Reach out to Diane Colburn Director of Outreach Services: dcolburn at mdschblind.org <mailto:dcolburn at mdschblind.org>

Save the date: MSB Revised Admission Process

Date: September 13 at 3:30 pm

The MSB admission process has been revised to promote LRE (Least Restrictive Environment) and provide a clear process everyone understands. Come to this webinar to learn more about why we revised the process, how our outreach department can still support students, providers, and families, and how you can get involved. Registration coming soon.

APH Hands-On Tech Fair at MSB

September 17 at MSB
10 am - 3 pm

Want to try out an APH Quota-eligible tech device, but not sure if it is right for your student? This APH tech fair will include hands-on APH tech devices with APH staff that can answer your questions. This will be a great event for TVIs when thinking about tech solutions for their students that are APH Quota-eligible, thus 'free' to you. This will be a drop-in event, so come on by! As a reminder, when you input your requests for APH Quota-eligible items, we do not ask you what student it is going to. That is up to your discretion.

Register to be a Vendor at the Tech Fair

Are you a vendor with technology you want to showcase at our tech fair? Fill out our <https://maryland.us17.list-manage.com/track/click?u=da8f913f82891276e85e5bd03&id=cd81f931be&e=f570d81d7e> vendor fair application.

This session is in collaboration with NFB of Maryland and the Bridges Help Desk.
