I would appreciate you forwarding this to any college students you know who may be interested and qualified. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Here are the requirements:<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Student must be currently enrolled full time in an accredited college/university<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Student should be majoring/minoring in computer science, management information systems or have completed courses in these fields<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Preferably student will be a current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Students submit an application at intern.nasa.gov. Once they are in the system, they will be able to choose and apply to multiple internships. The title of this one is: <u>Implementing Accessible Information and Communication Technology At NASA</u>. The deadline for submissions is early March I believe, but chances are increased for selection the earlier an application is provided. <span style='background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow'>Also, NASA internships are highly competitive, so applying early is a student’s best bet for being considered. There is a $7300 stipend for the 10 week summer internship.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D;background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow'>Finally, we are assuming the internship will be virtual, but a trip or two to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt MD may be required for badging and securing IT.
