[NFB-Mastodon] Following communities on MetaText like with the Mona app?

Firstly thanks for creating this list! I hope to gain lots (and share as time goes on), lots of knowledge! I'd like to get all of the juice out of Mastodon as I possibly can!
And now my debut question: You know how with the Mona app, there's a Communities tab, where you can go into different communities to see what they're poming, posting, etc.? I'm settling with the Metatext app because Mona (even though I'd like to have it someday), here in Mexico it's a bit on the expensive side (at almost $250mx)! So with Metatext, how would you search and go into different communities? Because when I go into the Search option, after starting to type in something, I get a "500 page" error. Thanks for any help in this matter.
