Salaams, yes, if they are responsible for providing accessible training to the masjids, why is their own site not w3cg2.0 compliant. I was told by them that they provide the training for the Islamic centers, where did they get their training? I even tried to make a zakat payment but their site was not accessible so I sent my money elsewhere that had an accessible website.
Salaam wa-nor sister Heather

Subject: [NFB-Muslims] meeting with Muhsen
Salamalaykum brothers and sisters,
following up on our discussion today, I have questions for Muhsen.org
Accessability of the website.
When a Masajid requests the Muhsen accessibility, the community has to fill out the needs assessment form on the Muhsen website. The form is not accessible.
As an adult I want to make sure that my local masajid has programs for me. I also want to ensure that their website and the programs are accessible to me.
As a blind parent, how will I get info about programs for my children?
Muhsen should have web accessibility training for the masajids so they can comply with the requirements.
Can we the NFB Muslim group assist in this project.
These are some of my questions, Add more to this document.
Yasmin
