Thank you for those that made the meeting today. Blind Muslim meeting summary for March 7, 2026
1-Attendee introductions
2-Our GABLVM.com website created by brother Yahya is updated frequently with various Ramadan streams and announcements.
3-introducing Quran memorization app by brother Mohamed.
4-blind Muslims Eid event 4 PM Eastern on first day of Eid (Tasnim). 
5-2026 National convention planning that includes the following:
-requesting a daily prayer space, Friday prayer and seminar space and including the three announcements on agenda (Tasnim’s responsibility).
-communicating with an Imam to lead the Friday prayer and possibly join us during the seminar (Zaid and Don).
-inviting local community members to attend the convention and our events at convention  (Zaid and Don).
-requesting to have an event at the nearest local Islamic center in the evening on Friday, July 3 where there is a program for the community and line Muslims (Zaid Don and Tasnim). 
-creating a Google form sign-up sheet for evening trip to the Islamic Center (Tasnim).
-seminar topics options (Tasnim Yasmin Zaid Don Heather): 1- if the Imam can make the seminar, he would be a speaker and have an open discussion. 2-a panel discussion of blind Muslims from various backgrounds. If you’re interested to be on the panel, contact Tasnim directly. 3-have a self-defense workshop.
