Pleas if you were living in Texas last year and lived threw the freeze, kindly assist in this project. </p><p class=MsoNormal>Salaam wa-nor </p><p class=MsoNormal>Sister Heather </p><p class=MsoNormal>Are you a person with a disability or chronic health condition? </p><p class=MsoNormal>Did you live through the 2021 Texas Winter Storm? </p><p class=MsoNormal>Would you like to share your experiences? </p><p class=MsoNormal> </p><p class=MsoNormal>Sociologist Angela Frederick is conducting research interviews with people with disabilities and chronic health conditions who experienced prolonged power outages during Winter Storm Uri. Interviews will also be conducted with a loved one when appropriate. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom or phone, and your identity will remain confidential in research presentations and publications from this study. Interviews are expected to last one hour. </p><p class=MsoNormal> </p><p class=MsoNormal>Participants will be offered a $15.00 Amazon gift card in gratitude for their time.
