To NH NFB members and non members,
Please consider this my resignation from the NH NFB Board of Directors and my seat on the nominating committee. Also, I would like to disolve my membership in the NH affiliate of the NFB.
I have taken time to think about all that has gone on and I wish to thank Marie for all she has done for this organization and its members. She has worked very hard to make great things happen for this affiliate. She has selflessly worked many hours making sure that whatever was asked of NH was taken care of. All of our trips to Washington, all our appointments with our Senators and Congressmen were set up. The transportation was booked and confirmed, running raffles to raise money for the affiliate and just generally keeping order for her members. Any successes that happened in NH, for a very long time have been because of Marie. I for one am very proud to know her. She is a great tribute to the cause which this blind organization is supposed to stand for which demands "independence and respect" for the blind. She has proven that she has the ability, committment, determination and spirit to be able to carry out whatever task may come her way and do it well. I am not worried for Marie. I am sure she will do well in whatever she chooses to challenge next.
I am concerned for NH and its blind folks, for this reason I pray that all goes well for the good of our NH blind.
I wish the affiliate well. I will miss all of the friends I have made, stay well and God Bless!

Good Morning;
As second Vice-President of the National Federation of the Blind of NH, I am
resigning from the office effective immediately. In lieu of recent events I
no longer wish to be an officer in the affiliate. I recognize that I do not
have the time, expertise or commitment to fulfill the role of President
which would have been the correct procedure upon the resignations of both
the current President and first Vice-President. There are few presently in
the affiliate whom I believe can adequately fulfill this role.
Also, effective immediately, James Leavitt is resigning his roles as member
of both the Scholarship and Nominating Committees.
