OBITUARY for Christina L. Proulx
New Hampshire Sunday News
April 8, 2012

CONCORD — Christina L. Proulx, 92, died Friday, April 6, 2012, at her 
residence at Harris Hill Center. Born in Manchester on March 2, 1920, 
Christina was the daughter of Fred and Susan (Healey) Robinson. She spent 
some time in both Allenstown and Concord after having lived most of her life 
in Manchester.She attended Perkins School for the Blind in Boston and was a 
member of the National Federation of the Blind and had volunteered with 
Workshops for the Blind for many years. In addition, Mrs. Proulx had worked 
for Anchor Electric.  She had also been a member of the Lighted Heart Club 
and the Home Bowling League of the Salvation Army.  Christina was the widow 
of George Proulx, who died in 1986, and is survived by three children, 
Phyllis Amyot and her husband, Ernest, of Allenstown, Ronald Proulx and his 
wife, Glenna, of Manchester, and Dr. Gary Proulx and his wife, Sarah, of 
Stratham; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and 
nephews.

Friends and relatives may call at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in 
Pembroke from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 9. Services will be held in the 
funeral home on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. by the Rev. Clifford Gleason and 
burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.  In lieu of 
flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Association for 
the Blind, 25 Walker St., Concord 03301.  The Petit Funeral Home of Pembroke 
is in charge of arrangements and offers an online guestbook at
