Winter Weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire

for Adults who are Blind or Visually Impaired

 

Adaptive Sports Partners of the North Country invites you to join their trained guides for an active and fun-filled winter weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Saturday and Sunday activities include your choice of snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, downhill skiing or snowboarding. Snowshoeing and Nordic skiing will take place on the scenic trails of the Franconia Inn, Sunset Hill House or at Bretton Woods Nordic Center. Final determination will depend on snow conditions. Downhill skiing and snowboarding will be at Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch State Park. All activities include equipment, trail pass or lift ticket, trained guides and instructors and a brown bag lunch each day.

 

When:          Friday, January 18 - Sunday, January 20, 2013

What:           Your choice of snowshoeing, Nordic skiing or downhill skiing or snowboarding

Where:        Franconia New Hampshire area

Cost:              $80 - $140 depending on activities chosen includes brown bag lunch each day. 

Does not include lodging or transportation to/from the Franconia Area

·         Snowshoeing - $40 per person per day, includes equipment, trail pass, guide & brown bag lunch

·         Nordic skiing - $45 per person per day, includes equipment, trail pass, guide & brown bag lunch

·         Alpine skiing or riding - $70 per person per day, includes equipment, lift ticket, guide & brown bag lunch



$20 for dinner Saturday evening with the group

If you let us know we will meet your bus in Franconia and transport you to your selected lodging establishment. 

 

Once in the Franconia area transportation to and from daily activities and dinner Saturday evening is available at no charge.
