[Nfb-new-hampshire] NH Parents of Blind Children Meeting Announcement

All parents of blind and visually impaired children, educators and others
interested in promoting the purposes of this organization are invited to
attend our first meeting.

March 30th 2012 5:00 to 6:00pm at the Courtyard Marriott Nashua NH

The growing agenda of the meeting includes election of officers, planning
for the year including  what we would like to do for events, outings, and
fundraising.

The purpose of this organization shall be to create a climate of
opportunity for blind children and visually impaired children in home,
school, and society; to provide information and support to parents of blind
children; to facilitate the sharing of experience and concerns among
parents of blind children; to develop and expand resources available to
parents and their blind children; to help parents of blind children gain
understanding and perspective through partnership and contact with blind
adults; and to function as an integral part of the National Federation of
the Blind in its ongoing effort to eliminate discrimination and prejudice
against the blind and to achieve for the blind security, equality, and
opportunity.

Also as a reminder the NFB NH is having its state convention March 30 &
March 31 (also at the Courtyard Marriott in Nashua)  Friday there will be
exhibits from 12pm to 4pm    Saturday's session 8:30am to 5:00pm is also
going to be great with lot of speakers and information.
