The Governor's Commission on Disability (GCD) and the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) are holding a series of informative mini-seminars to help people learn more about disability related issues and services.  

 

FREE SEMINAR

 

An Introduction to the Department of Veterans Affairs - Overview of Veteran's Benefits, Health Care

and Employment Services.

 

Many people, veterans included, are often confused about what is available, the eligibility for services and how to access the vast array of services that veterans have earned through their military service.  The speakers will give an introduction and answer questions from participants.

 

Speakers:    Erik B. Johannessen, LICSW Social Work Executive Preventive Ethics Coordinator and  Robert Weeks, Program Manager of the Compensated Work Therapy Program at the Manchester Veterans Administration Medical Center 

 

Thursday, April 18th, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00pm
