Residential Life Assistant

 

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently
recruiting full-time Residential Life Assistants.  These individuals are
required to provide individual and group guidance services related to
scholastic, educational, personal hygiene and social skill development to
students who are blind/visually impaired, with/without other impairments.
One full time nine month graveyard position available: 11:30 pm to 7:30 am
and one full-time nine month evening position: 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
Graveyard shift provides vigilant supervision and assists with morning
hygiene.  Must remain awake for all shifts.  Evening shift will be required
to become Braille proficient. Applications accepted until filled.
