Subject: Are you deaf-blind and want to give feedback on new technologies?

Dear participant,

You are receiving this email because you signed up to hear about research
opportunities with Arizona State University's Center for Cognitive
Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC). Reply to this message if you no longer want to
receive research announcements from us.

At the CUbiC, we are interested in developing haptic or touch-based
technologies that could benefit people who have both blindness and hearing
loss, or are deaf-blind. In order to ensure that the new technologies meet
the real needs of this population, we would like to have some conversations
with individuals who identify as having a hearing loss or who are
deaf-blind, to find out what techniques you use for travel and
communication, and how technology might be able to augment those methods.

If you have a hearing loss or identify as deaf-blind, and would be
interested in providing your feedback, could you please reply to this email
and let me know that you would be interested in future opportunities?
Thanks!

Best regards,

Arielle Silverman, Ph.D.
