[NFB-NM] Art Schreiber Update

Hello All,

 

Art Schreiber is in the hospital being treated for a pulmonary embolism,
which is a blood clot in the lungs. For those few of you who may not know
Art, he is Chairman of the Commission for the Blind, and  he is also a prior
President of the National Federation of the Blind of New Mexico.

 

Greg and I visited Art at the hospital this evening. Art is definitely
stronger and in less pain than when Greg visited him on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, Art is still in a lot of pain   . Art was sitting up and
getting ready for a shower and some physical therapy, so we could not stay
long. I hope you will join me in keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.
