Subject: Sharing Challenges

Hi Tonia:

Could you please post the following announcement. Thanks much.

Nancy

Sharing Both Challenges as well Successes with Others Who Happen to be
Visually Impaired

As those of us who are visually impaired experience life's challenges it is
also beneficial to share successes. Join Creating Options on Wednesday,
September 18, 2019 and discuss not only difficulties but how you overcame
some of these problems. Moving confidently in home and neighborhood may
present challenges. Kitchen activities, artistic desires and other life
situations may be discussed.

Friends and family members are always welcome. This month Trudy Valdez and
Kelly Golden from Veteran services will be present. They will be present
to learn as well as share information. Successful artists, home makers,
others with fascinating hobbies will also attend. This group offers the
possibility for open and positive discussion.

September 18, from 10:00 to 12 noon

New Mexico Commission for the Blind

2200 Yale Blvd. SE

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Facilitated by Nancy and Don Burns

Best wishes,

Tonia Trapp, secretary
