[NFB-NM] NFB of Albuquerque chapter meeting announcement

Greetings Fellow Federationists:
 
The Albuquerque Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind will be
holding our next meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, November 3 at 7:00 PM. Please
arrive 15 minutes before the meeting is scheduled to start. 
We will be discussing increasing membership dues beginning 2022. We are
collecting dues for 2021 at $5/year; dues are due no later than December 31.
We will be holding annual elections at this meeting as well. All five
Constitutional Officers and both Board members are up for election. Members
wishing to run for a position must be present at the meeting in which
they're elected, and they must be current with their dues. 
 
You can join the meeting in a number of ways-from a traditional conference
phone call or using the Zoom program on a computer, smart phone, or tablet.
We recently discovered another way to join a meeting using Zoom. The program
can call you. In order to have Zoom call you, please contact Tara Chavez by
Sunday, November 1 with the phone number you would like us to call. If you
have asked to be called in the past, and would no longer like to be called
in to the meeting, please let Tara know by Sunday, November 1.
 

Joining the Zoom Meeting With a Traditional Phone Call

 
If you dial into the meeting with a phone call, you should bear in mind the
following two commands which you can enter using the phone's dial keypad:
 
Star 6 is the command to mute and unmute yourself during the meeting.
 
Star 9 is the command to raise or lower your virtual hand.
 
To join the meeting, call 253 215 8782. Enter the meeting ID: 950 7289 4093,
followed by pound.
