The Blind Entertainers And Support Team is always searching for new and interesting ways to promote creative expression by blind performers and craft-persons.
Another goal is to address the misconceptions and negative expectations encountered in society.  Combining education with entertainment seems a great mix.
Sometimes ideas expressed through music can have a powerful impact.  With this in mind, songwriter Larry Lorenzo is inviting BEAST members to co-write a song with a meaningful and relevant message.  The proposed concept or "hook" is "The Road Of Expectations".
Co-writers can contribute in several ways.  For those familiar with both melody and lyric writing, the process can be familiar.  However, if one is familiar with melody or lyric writing only, the contribution can still be significant.  Finally, for those not familiar with songwriting, general discussion of the impact of others expectations can be valuable.  In other words, if you are interested in exploring how misconceptions and expectations effect you, your ideas and feelings are important.

Larry Lorenzo will facilitate the process.  All participants will be given credit when a song is produced.  Be ready to talk about the idea at the next BEAST meeting.
