** Attention everyone, we now have a new Zoom in number. 
 
Every month we get together to learn about blindness. We get together to
learn how others do the things they do after they lose their vision,
something they have relied on for some or all of their lives. Come join us
on Wednesday, June 12 at 7:00 P. m. Mountain time to see what our speaker
has to say about her journey. Here is a short bio that Tina Terri sent to
me.
 
I grew up in a small town in Nebraska but moved to Utah after my second year
of college.  I worked as a receptionist and then reservationist for several
years.  My favorite times were those that I could be home cooking and
working around the house.  When my husband was diagnosed with cancer and
knew that it was terminal, we decided to move back near my family.  I had
been working with the blind for several years by then teaching things such
as technology and cooking.  After his death I became a contract worker for
the state of Nebraska while I work to get my own consulting business up and
running.  I subsidize that by selling a variety of caramels and find that is
growing bigger than what I expected.  I am currently working on licensing
and details like packaging.  I have been blind since birth so am constantly
looking at alternative techniques to make things better.  That is one of the
most rewarding parts of what I do.
