Director of the New Mexico Commission for the Blind Addresses Support Group
 
The monthly group, Creating Options, works with people who are experiencing
vision loss.  Unfortunately, discrimination does exist and the Americans
with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits such discrimination.  
This support group meets every third Wednesday and, as the name, Creating
Options,  implies, alternative options for performing daily tasks with
limited vision are discussed. 
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10 to 12 noon,, Greg Trapp JD Executive
Director, New Mexico Commission for the Blind,  will discuss  such issues as
the abundance of inaccessible touch  screen devices. These devices are found
in airports, Post offices, medical offices  and numerous other locations.
Director Trapp has first hand experience with this law and will share such
information with the group
Details for attending this session, either in person or by Zoom, will be
posted prior to this informative and helpful  session.
