Residential Life Assistants

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently recruiting part-time graveyard and part-time evening Residential Life Assistants.  Will be required to provide individual and group guidance services related to scholastic, educational, personal hygiene and social skill development to students who are blind/visually impaired, with/without other impairments.  Part-time nine-month graveyard position: 1:15 am to 7:15 am.  Part-time nine-month evening position: 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm.  Graveyard shift provides vigilant supervision and assists with morning hygiene.  Will be required to become Braille proficient.  Must remain awake for all shifts.  Applications accepted until filled.
