The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.<br> <br>My name is Sandra Bullins and I am a Doctoral candidate at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and I am also blind. I am conducting a research study to investigate the relationship between spirituality and coping responses in individuals who have a visual impairment. I am asking permission to recruit participants from your organization for the study. If you could please forward this email to your current members, this would help me out a great deal…and I would greatly appreciate it!<br>All guidelines and standards for conducting this research have been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. The ethical standards set forth by the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the ethical standards of the Counsel on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) will be adhered to.<br>All data collected will remain confidential to the extent allowed by law and University policy.
