My name is Nikki Jackson, and I serve as the Employment Program Coordinator at the National Federation of the Blind headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland. We are working with the National Association of Blind Students, National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania Association of Blind Students to plan the upcoming Mid-Atlantic Student Seminar. This is a weekend-long seminar designed to enrich the lives of blind students through interactive workshops, engaging presentations, and relationship building. This event will take place in early August in Philadelphia. Date and location forthcoming.



We are hoping to build relationships with regional vocational rehabilitation agencies to encourage them to support their consumer’s participation in this experience.  I have attached the student seminar program description to this email. Can you please share amongst your agency networks. I will send additional information once a date and location have been confirmed. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for your time.
