Some of you have known that I have been back and forth to Maryland for much of June dealing with the illness of my grandfather. He went into the hospital on June 1 with pneumonia and declined quickly from there. On June 12, Pop passed away peacefully in hospice care. Though we miss him greatly, we're thankful that he's no longer suffering.</div><div><br></div><div>Pop was a supporter of the NFB for many years, and my grandparents were founding members of the Greater Carroll County Chapter in Maryland when we organized it in 2015. When I came to Delaware, he took great pride in our Southern Chapter and often asked how we were doing. I would ask for your prayers as we go through this difficult time. For anyone who is interested, here is his obituary:</div><div><br></div><h2 style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; line-height: normal; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-family: "Source Serif Pro" !important; font-weight: 400 !important; color: rgb(15, 23, 42) !important; font-size: 24px !important; text-transform: capitalize !important;">Ronald "Ron" Cox Obituary</h2><div class="obit-text-container fade-bg" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; mask-image: linear-gradient(rgb(255, 255, 255), rgb(255, 255, 255), rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)); line-height: 22px; height: 132px; overflow: hidden;"><p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px; font-size: 16px; line-height: 19px; letter-spacing: 0px; color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: Lato !important;"> Ronald "Ron" William Cox, age 83, of Westminster, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Dove House in Westminster.
