<p class="MsoNormal">Hi all.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I just got back from my demo of the accessible voting machine. It was very easy to use and the speech was very clear. It’s a large square panel that connects to the actual voting machine. They are all supposed to have headphones; but you
may bring your own. All of the buttons and arrows on the panel are all clearly marked in Braille. There are up, down, right and left arrows as well as up and down volume buttons, tempo, to adjust the speech speed, and a square select button in the middle to
make your choices. The first thing you have to do when you get to the machine is to insert your card into the slot on the right side. “Card slot” is written in Braille either right above or below the slot. You can correctly orient the card, because the top
right corner is cut off. Then the instructions will automatically play and you can go back or forward using the arrow keys. Once you have made all of your choices, it will tell you to press the right arrow to print your ballot. Then you have to press the right
arrow again to register your vote. Every polling place will have 1 out of every 4 machines which will be accessible; and the workers are all supposed to be trained on them. I hope that there isn’t anything that I have forgotten. I wrote this up as soon as
