key ingredients in the success of our movement. The one word that continued to be top of mind was consistency. Our movement, driven by blind people, is respected and valued by our partners and by others because of our consistency. Policymakers know what to
expect from us. Technology companies can feel confident that we will give them authentic and clear feedback. Partners value that they can rely on our word and our strong philosophy. The examples go on and on. Consistency is one of the best ways to carry out
our mission and to provide leadership in our movement.<o:p></o:p></span></span></span></span></p>

you are within your leadership in the Federation. Do your words match your actions? Are your meetings consistent and organized in a way that represent our values? Do you show respect to all members regardless of their background or elected office? There are
dozens of other ways you can examine your own consistency. I field concerns from members and leaders frequently. One theme that always comes up when there is misunderstanding is consistency. I am not saying we can avoid all of the issues, but I am suggesting
that, by reviewing our own consistency as leaders, we can significantly improve the effectiveness of our local organizations.

found to bring more consistency to your leadership and what tips and tricks you have to share. Remember, the Federation is bigger and more important than any of us as individual leaders, and the best way we can contribute to the overall progress of our movement
is to continue building more consistency into what we do. Leave the movement better than you found it and do not settle for handing things over and expecting the next person to figure it out just because that is what happened to you. I promise you that if
you build more consistency into the movement, we all will be better for your efforts.
