If so, the NFB DE will hold its third annual Advocacy Day at the Dover Legislative Hall on Wednesday, May 7th from 10 am to 2 pm. You may be asking what we do on Advocacy Day. Well, the first thing we do is set up a table outside of the Legislative chambers and pass out information about the NFB DE and our activities and resolutions. Also, members set up appointments or just drop by their representative’s offices to talk with them and share about the NFB DE concerns and priorities. This event introduces our organization to many and highlights our latest priorities to people who are affecting our everyday lives with legislation. Our past events have resulted in increased awareness of the legislative requirements of blind/low vision Delawareans and resulted in support for legislation that will make a difference. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If you are interested in participating, we will have a meeting on May 1st from 1pm to 2 pm via Zoom. During this meeting, we will discuss the logistics and strategy for our May 7th event. Please call or email me if you are interested in attending. As always, it takes teamwork to make the dream work.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Sincerely… Carol King-Ries<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Legislative Director, NFB DE<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Live the life you want with love, hope, and determination!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Zoom link:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Join Zoom Meeting<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><a href="https://zoom.us/j/5108560205?pwd=MXFNdW5MQ2wzYmdSTHZEUWlMc3hWdz09">https://zoom.us/j/5108560205?pwd=MXFNdW5MQ2wzYmdSTHZEUWlMc3hWdz09</a><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Meeting ID: 510 856 0205<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Passcode: 11192020<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>One tap mobile<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>+13017158592,,5108560205# US (Washington DC)<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>+13092053325,,5108560205# US<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div id="DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2"><br /><table style="border-top: 1px solid #D3D4DE;"><tr><td style="width: 55px; padding-top: 13px;"><a href="http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=emailclient" target="_blank"><img src="https://s-install.avcdn.net/ipm/preview/icons/icon-envelope-tick-green-avg-v1.png" alt="" width="46" height="29" style="width: 46px; height: 29px;"/></a></td><td style="width: 470px; padding-top: 12px; color: #41424e; font-size: 13px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;">Virus-free.<a href="http://www.avg.com/email-signature?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=emailclient" target="_blank" style="color: #4453ea;">www.avg.com</a></td></tr></table><a href="#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2" width="1" height="1"> </a></div></body></html>
