<b>\u201cKnowledge is Sweet\u201d seminar</b>, hosted by the <b>National Federation of the Blind Diabetes Action Network (DAN)</b>, taking place
<b>May 16\u201317, 2025</b>, at the <b>NFB Jernigan Institute</b> and we also are streaming for those that cannot attend in-person.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As you know, <b>diabetes is the leading cause of blindness</b>, and our work to equip leaders across the country with the tools and knowledge to serve this community is more important than ever. DAN is committed to helping our affiliates
build strong, informed connections with individuals affected by diabetes\u2014many of whom are potential future members and leaders within the NFB.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We\u2019re encouraged to see several affiliates already leading the way with local DAN divisions, and we would love to see that momentum grow. Whether your affiliate currently has a DAN division or not, we warmly encourage you to sponsor one
or more members to attend\u2014either in person or virtually.<o:p></o:p></p>
