Participants will complete a matching task in which they explore a test board containing multiple textures and match them to a reference board; some textures are physically identical but differ only by the presence of a coating. By comparing matching accuracy, we aim to determine whether coatings enhance discriminability of textures and to identify coating \u201ctexture combinations that perform best for designing more effective tactile graphics.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Role of the Participants and Anticipated Length of the Study <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Participants will explore tactile boards using their hands and complete a texture-matching task by comparing a test board to a reference board. The boards contain multiple textures, some of which are identical in geometry but differ only by the presence of a surface coating.
