Subject: The First OSB Conference On June 6th 2012

Hi Everyone,

Come On In! You Are All Welcome! We are very excited about this first OSB
Conference which will take place on June 6th 2012 on the Conversation
Station phone system.

You might want to do a trial run before the exact time of the conference.

If you just call the number: 616-883-2999 and follow the prompts, you should
not have any problem.

Don't be surprised if you hear music if you are the only one in the room.
<smile>

I have given the line owner 24 songs to put into the room. These songs have
been lovingly given to me by some of you, and will only play when there is
one person in the room.

We have many tallented OSB Alumni!

My thanks goes out to everyone who has helpped make this possible.

Here are all the details below.

What? The first OSB Conference

this conference is for absolutely anyone who has attended The Oregon State
School For The Blind, in Salem, Oregon, at any time during it's existence.
This includes all OSB Alumni Students, staff members, volunteers, and all
day students, and summer school students, as well.

When? June 6th 2012 at 9 PM Eastern, 8 PM Central, 7 PM Mountain, and
6 PM Pacific time zones.

Where? The Conversation Station: 616-8832999 Room 6200

How? Just call: 616-883-2999. When you hear the train whistle, press the
pound button. Then press pound again. Press the number one for Live chat
rooms. Then Press the numbers 6200 and pound to enter the OSB conference
room. Please say your name before entering the room when prompted.

Why? This OSB Conference has been created because we no longer have the
loving OSB Campus, and We want to give everyone a chance to stay in touch
and to chat with others. This conference room is not just a one time thing.
It's going to be there for as long as The Conversation Station system is
here. It's for you, my fellow Loving OSB friends and Staff.

Everyone will be given the opportunity to talk.

Most of the time when someone is talking, the entire room will be muted.
This is because we expect a good crowd, and if everyone talks at once,no one
will hear the person who is talking, they just would hear everyone talking
at once. <smile>

The important command you need to know is the Mute command. This is a toggle
command, Star one mutes your phone, and Star One also un-mutes your phone.

The person who will be asked to speak, will be asked to un-mute his or her
phone with the star one buttons so that they can be heard by everyone.

If you need to leave the conference at any time, you may do so by just
hanging up your phone. You will hear a sound when someone joins the
conference, and another different sound when someone leaves the conference.

There will be time during the conference for everyone to just chat.

I do have several moderators who will bbe helping me, if necessary, and who
will be in the room at the time of the conference. They are Cecily
Ballenger, Paulette Stokes, Michael Canady, and myself. I do have an
adjenda, and we plan to do some fun and important things.

We realize not everyone has unlimited long distance, so the first part of
our conference will be organized.

We will hear a recording from Carl Belnap, The OSB Alumni Association
President.

we will hear tidbits of music from many of you talented ones.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at any
time.

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow night on the conference in room
6200.

Thank you very much.

Pat Ferguson
