Dear Fellow Federationists:

 

                The United States Senate is considering whether to ratify the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), an international treaty that obligates signatories to protect the rights of people with disabilities in their countries and throughout the world.  The National Federation of the Blind supports the CRPD.  You can learn more and read Dr. Maurer's statement of support at http://www.nfb.org/national-federation-blind-urges-senate-ratify-convention-rights-people-disabilities. 

 

Please contact your U.S. Senators immediately and let them know that you support the CRPD and urge them to vote for its ratification.
