What is a Legislative Seminar?
 

Each session the National Federation of the Blind of Oregon gathers to meet with our State Senators and Representatives in an effort to inform them of issues that are of concern to the blind of Oregon.  Here are some of the things we will be discussing:  Universal bus passes, funding for the Commission of the Blind, funding for the Newsline for the Blind service and the registration of the Blind Children's Fund.

 

Come help us bring the message to our lawmakers.  We could use your support.

Game-A-Thon
Saturday, March 2, 2013
 

Join us for a fun evening of socializing, playing your favorite games, and earning money to help blind children in Oregon brush up on their Braille skills!  Similar to a walk-a-thon participants take pledges from family and friends, to be collected after the game-a-thon event.  Bring your pledge forms, games and any money collected when you attend the seminar!  Pledge forms can be found on our website @ nfb-oregon.org.
