        You could also just reinstall JFW by downloading it from their web site.
Finally, doesn't Microsoft Windows have a "repair" program feature? You could try that.

No, I mean getting the JAWS disk out, finding the executable that installs
it and typing:

JAWS.EXE /TYPE REPAIR

And letting it do its thing. Earlier versions of JAWS allowed one to repair
JAWS from the installation menu but this is no longer the case.

Also, I realize you may not be able to afford it but keeping up with the
latest versions sometimes helps with changing program environments.
